I’m proud to be connected to many communities here in Rochester, as a mother of 3 being a part of PTSA, Women in business, Muslim Community, Chambers of Commerce etc.
Tell us about your business/ or your profession?
I’m a business owner and Business Development Director of Curve marketing and creative design agency. I helped many businesses “big and small” reach their potential customers and communicate the value they bring to them through marketing. We tailor solutions for businesses in marketing, advertising, brand building and creative design.
What have you learned so far through the co-design process? How are you benefiting from co-design?
It’s really great to learn from other perspectives, being part of a team helps you open your mind to other ideas and thought processes.
What excites you about participating as co-designer for the Main Street Grant?
I’m proud to be a part of an initiative that can make an impact for local businesses in my community, which ties closely to my personality and why I started a marketing agency in the first place.

Technically sophisticated, culturally aware, experienced, and effective in domestic and foreign operating environments.

Sudanese, Somali, GCC area countries patients and visitors to Rochester for medical reason as well as Southeast Asia and India visitors.

Founder and CEO of Massaie Services Inc for non-emergency medical transportation, contracted with UAE embassy to give services to UAE nationals. Founder & CEO of Allegiant Home Care Inc, home care company in Rochester, MN.
What have you learned so far through the co-design process? How are you benefiting from co-design?
It was a learning curve as what goes behind designing applications. I learned a lot about people working in DMC, and their contribution to Rochester MN to become destination medical city.

That large institutes like the DMC are putting in the effort to be more inclusive

Our work is stronger together, I enjoy solidarity efforts in dismantling systems that, intentionally or not, create oppression.

Turning the moment of diversity, equity, and inclusion into an era by showing that public and private interests can produce results all communities are proud of.

I am connected with all communities in Olmsted County through my work with Hope Fuse, committee member on various boards, and my role with Collider as Director of Navigation.
Tell us about your business/ or your profession?
President and founder of Hope Fuse, a local Nonprofit organization in Rochester; a nonprofit organization focused on youth mentoring and youth development for youth ages 9-21 years old. My profession is service and provide service to others. Looking forward to the 12 months as a serial entrepreneur.
What have you learned so far through the co-design process? How are you benefiting from co-design?
My experience through the co-design process was learning and hearing the struggles that others face in the community when it comes to access to capital and funds. I benefited from the 5 meetings, knowing that I am part of a process that will open doors for all entrepreneurs including (BIPOC) community.
What excites you about participating as co-designer for the Main Street Grant?
The excitement of seeing what this will do for others, who are looking to create wealth and or reach their personal goals.
