The Destination Medical Center Corporation (DMCC) today announced that Peter Frosch, Chief Executive Officer of GREATER MSP, has been appointed to the DMCC Board of Directors.
Frosch is an internationally recognized leader in economic development and regional strategy. As CEO of GREATER MSP, he leads the organization’s efforts to advance the economic competitiveness of the Minneapolis-Saint Paul region through business development, talent attraction, and cross-sector collaboration.
“Peter understands that Minnesota becomes stronger when we bring people together around big ideas and shared goals,” said Governor Tim Walz. “He’s spent his career building the partnerships that create good jobs, attract investment, and help communities succeed. I know he’ll be a tremendous asset to the Destination Medical Center Board as Rochester continues leading the way in healthcare innovation and economic opportunity.”

Prior to becoming CEO, Frosch served as GREATER MSP’s Senior Vice President of Strategy and Partnerships and Chief of Staff, where he helped develop and implement the region’s economic development strategy. During his tenure, he led the creation of nationally recognized initiatives, including Make It. MSP™, which received the International Economic Development Council’s award for the nation’s best talent initiative, and the Regional Indicators Dashboard, an innovative tool for measuring regional economic performance that has since been replicated by metropolitan regions across the country.

Frosch was appointed by Governor Tim Walz to serve on the Destination Medical Center Corporation Board. His term began June 29, 2026, and expires January 5, 2032.
