Sustainability presentation and discussion led by Carmen Carruthers, Outreach Director at Citizens Utility Board (CUB) of Minnesota.

Carruthers will lead an interactive and thought-provoking presentation on how consumers can exercise their energy options now and in the future to create greener, more efficient homes and communities. The session will include practical energy-saving tips and a peek into the future of energy technology and energy systems.

Carruthers has a diverse career background with experience in financial services, sales, education and urban planning. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Local and Urban Affairs from St. Cloud State University and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Minnesota.

CUB is a non-profit consumer advocate organization that works to ensure Minnesotans have clean, affordable, and reliable energy.

The DMC Sustainability Series is a partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council. This presentation is free to attend. Healthy snacks will be provided; attendees are invited to bring their own lunch.
