Description
Sustainability presentation and discussion led by Kelly Rae Kirkpatrick, co-founder of Rochester Public Library‘s Seed Library.
The Seed Library offers free access to seeds for growing food. It increases participation in growing food and raises awareness of seed saving and the structure of the food system. The seed library fosters food justice by expanding access to fresh food and keeps open-pollinated seed varieties in use through its culturally diverse collection of seeds.
The DMC Sustainability Series is a partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council. This presentation is free to view.
