Sustainability presentation and discussion led by Iben Falconer, director at Gehl, an urban design consultancy based in Copenhagen, New York, and San Francisco.
Gehl’s approach to measuring and improving the public realm can provide a pathway for others to follow. Falconer will share more about Gehl’s Public Space Public Life survey methodologies, which have been used in more than 250 cities around the world. She will also share current work that addresses the issues of food choice and air pollution, and how urban design can create opportunities for better health outcomes for all city residents.
