Description
Sustainability presentation and discussion with Alexis Troschinetz, Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs) Behavioral Science and Evaluation Manager at University of Minnesota’s Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships and Extension.
Troschinetz’s presentation is about opportunities for building and business owners to save energy and lower their utility bills. Attendees will learn about no-cost and low-cost operational changes, low-cost energy saving devices, and the top energy-saving equipment or projects that would benefit most small businesses. She will also cover how to pay for energy projects and the available utility incentives.
With the Clean Energy Resource Teams (CERTs), Troschinetz infuses behavior change science into CERTs programs; builds relationships and offers programming to utilities; and evaluates CERTs’ programs by tracking quantitative and qualitative metrics. Alexis has a B.S. and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering and practiced engineering for more than seven years at two consulting firms prior to CERTs, working on sustainable operations, remediation, and stormwater.
