Description

Explore how the City of Rochester’s approach to working with Indigenous communities has evolved. Through four park projects and initiatives, we will examine how our understanding of Indigenous history, presence, perspectives, and lived experiences has deepened, and how that learning has shaped changes in engagement, relationships, and decision-making. The session will consider how organizations can move beyond acknowledgement toward meaningful and sustained action.
