OUR PRESENTER
Morgan Morey, Rochester Community Initiative

Morgan Morey is a dedicated student and passionate leader focused on improving educational outcomes in her community. She is an incoming freshman at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management with an interest in public and nonprofit management.

Currently, Morgan interns at Cradle 2 Career, focusing on increasing FAFSA completion rates and aligning youth with the organization’s shared community vision. Previously, she led student government, served on running teams, and led the Rochester Community Initiative (RCI), a youth-led nonprofit. As RCI’s Education Director, she educated students on social justice, built peer mentorship programs, and strengthened community partnerships.

Passionate about empowering young leaders, Morgan thrives in collaborative environments. She believes in the power of youth voices to drive positive change.

About the Equity Alliance Equity Series
The Equity Alliance Equity Series is a monthly seminar sponsored by Destination Medical Center and the City of Rochester. The purpose is to introduce diversity, equity, and inclusion best practices, build sustainable DEI community strategies, and build advocacy and allyship within the Rochester community. The series is held virtually on the second Wednesday of every month at noon.
