DMC will continue the Sustainability Speaker Series on Friday, March 16 from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Rochester Public Library in Meeting Room B (2nd floor).
This month, Ken Potts, RA with Mayo Clinic will discuss “Evolution in Energy Modeling.”
Mr. Potts will take a brief look back at past energy modeling, and will then look forward to the evolving use of this tool for conservation strategies at all scales. Mayo Clinic’s Generose building is currently adding 3 floors and is using a Performance-based Procurement strategy and will be the case study project. The presentation will trace the arc of incentive programs, energy modeling for LEED, energy efficiency target-setting, and how this applies to the goals of owners, designers and utility providers.
