Description

Please join us on Thursday, May 10 from noon-1 p.m. at the Rochester Area Foundation (Community Room, 2nd Floor) for a webinar about establishing an affordable housing fund focused on creating healthy neighborhoods.

The Healthy Neighborhoods Equity Fund (HNEF) is a pioneering proof-of-concept private equity fund for equitable Transit-Oriented Development projects in Massachusetts. Launched in 2014, HNEF is a creative response to the need for gap financing to support mixed-income, mixed-use development in the metro Boston region. The fund also uses an impact scorecard to screen and monitor investments for environmental, community and health impacts.

Representatives from the Conservation Law Foundation team will discuss the goals, structure, capital stack, and investment parameters for HNEF and provide case examples of projects the fund has invested in to-date.
