The City of Rochester and Destination Medical Center (DMC) continue to advance the work of connecting the future Rochester Rapid Transit system, which will run along 2nd Street SW and South Broadway Avenue, to the surrounding neighborhoods.
Building upon open houses held in February 2020, the city and DMC is hosting a series of online “open houses” during the month of April. This virtual format allows the public to learn more about proposed station locations and studies of their surrounding areas. The online open house series kicked off with a webinar on April 7 and includes two additional webinars focused on different sections of the project.
The series continues on Thursday, April 16 from 6-7 p.m. with a webinar focused on the 2nd Street SW Corridor Station Area Plans.

During this webinar the project team will present station area plans for the 2nd Street SW Corridor as well as studies on the surrounding corridor.
Due to the current situation with COVID-19 and a commitment to maintaining social distancing, the virtual format is being used to continue engagement with community members. The project team thanks everyone for their flexibility and willingness to adapt in an ever-evolving time of change.
