Join us in Collaboration Hall (Lobby) inside One Discovery Square to chow on guac-topped tacos from local favorite, Guerita’s Window, then stay to “taco ’bout” entrepreneurship and innovation with presenter, digital brand strategist, entrepreneur, and passionate design thinker, Ahmed Makkawy.
Founder of Rochester-based digital brand strategy agency, Saharafox Creative, LLC. and a UX/UI lead at the Mayo Clinic, Ahmed has over 15 years of experience in entrepreneurship, User Experience (UX) research, startup/enterprise software design/development, and product development. Working with companies like IBM, Ogilvy & Mather, Area10 Labs, Starwood Preferred Hotels, Disney, CoreLogic Inc. and others helped shape his unique blend of design thinking and project scoping/technical architecture. He is incredibly passionate about designing products and services that matter. His latest entrepreneurial projects include the SkyWorks commercial real estate workflow platform and Quizzem, a rewards based quizzing app for iOS bridging the gap between students, their parent/guardian, and teachers.
