Join us for an engaging workshop with Sybil L. Dunlop, a national thought leader on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issues.
Workforce diversification is a long-term success strategy for companies and communities. Contractors bidding on City of Rochester Destination Medical Center (DMC) projects are required to submit Workforce Participation Plans explaining how they will meet the workforce participation goals. Join us for an engaging workshop with Sybil L. Dunlop, a national thought leader on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issues. Sybil helped found Greene Espel’s Diversity & Inclusion practice which helps workplaces design and implement DEI programs to meet organizational goals, and she has spoken on this topic to more than 100 audiences across the nation.
Participants will:
Understand the value proposition for effectively recruiting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
Learn the benefits of integrating actionable Workforce Workplans with your Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) to meet workforce participation goals.
Become aware of best practices from organizations with leading equitable and inclusive hiring practices.
Who should attend? CEOs, presidents, vice presidents, managers, recruiters, DEI / EEO / AA officers, and other human resource generalists and specialists across multiple sectors who want to learn how to make workforce diversity support organizational success.
Hosted by DMC, City of Rochester and Winona State University Adult & Continuing Education
