PlaceMakers | Rochester Prototyping Festival takes place from September 15 to 17, and each day is filled with activities, entertainment, and – of course – the 16 prototypes and engagement with the Makers who built them. There will also be food and beverage available for purchase each day.
Here is the schedule of events:
Day 1: Thursday, September 15 – Hours: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Theme: Professional’s Night Out
4 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Demonstrations: Makers provide live demonstrations about their prototypes
5 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Entertainment: Live DJ by Apollo Music Group
6 p.m. – 8 p.m. – Mayo Clinic Transform 2016: We are excited to have members of the international Mayo Clinic Transform community join us as part of their three-day innovation conference which takes place from September 14 to 16.
Day 2: Friday, September 16 – Hours: 11 a.m. – 10 p.m.

Day 3: Saturday, September 17 – Hours: 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Theme: Kids & Families
Kid’s Passport Activity: Kids are encouraged to pick up a PlaceMakers Exploration Passport. Pick up a PlaceMakers Passport and visit at least eight prototypes to be entered to win one of three prizes. FREE cookie for each child who completes and turns in a passport.
There will also be additional activities provided by the Rochester Art Center for kids of all ages!
